Biden's War on Oil and Gas: Killing Jobs and Helping China
Joe Biden has declared war on the American oil and gas industry. Since taking office, he's pushed radical plans to switch to wind and solar power. But these green dreams are a nightmare for real workers.
Biden Attacks Pipelines, Costing Thousands of Jobs
Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline on his first day as president. This pipeline would have created thousands of good jobs for American workers. Now a former Keystone welder is barely getting by. He says green jobs don't pay anything close to pipeline work.
Just recently, Biden blocked all new pipeline permits. This gutted Troy Construction in Texas. The CEO says they've lost half their business and 3,000 jobs are at risk. These aren't just numbers - they're real people providing for families.
Green Schemes Raise Energy Costs, Help China
Democrats claim their climate plans will save the planet. But really, they just export jobs abroad and jack up costs at home.
John Kerry said we should close every coal power plant worldwide. That would kill nearly 1 million jobs across the globe. Here in the US, coal plants provide almost 20% of our electricity. Shut them down, and our energy bills skyrocket.
The winners from this green nightmare? Countries like China. They're opening hundreds of new coal plants to fuel their economy. America shoots itself in the foot while China's power grows.

Wind and Solar Aren't Ready for Prime-Time
Democrats say wind turbines and solar panels will replace closed power plants. But the math doesn't add up. Renewables only provide 20% of US electricity even after billions in subsidies.
The reason is simple - the sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't always blow. You can't power a country on dreams. We need fuels like natural gas, oil and coal that work 24/7, rain or shine.
Until there's a breakthrough in battery storage, renewables can't replace reliable power sources. Pretending otherwise just leads to blackouts and outrageous utility bills.
GOP Can Restore Energy Independence
There's a better way forward. With pro-energy policies, we can have affordable gas prices, heating and electricity again.
Many laid-off oil and gas workers still have the skills to get back on the job quickly. The Keystone welder said under Trump, pipeline construction could restart right away. New drilling and gas projects could also come online fast.
This energy boom would restore our energy independence. It would mean millions of good-paying jobs. And it would strike a blow against dictators like Putin who use oil as a weapon.
Democrats are sacrificing real people on the altar of climate change fantasies. Republicans understand we can have affordable energy AND care for the environment. The choice this November is clear.
Is There Hope We Can Turn Things Around?
While Biden's policies have damaged America's energy industry and helped our enemies, all is not lost. This country has overcome greater challenges before.
During World War II, America transformed itself into the arsenal of democracy. Factories that once produced cars quickly retooled to build tanks, planes and munitions. Millions of women entered the workforce to aid the war effort. Citizens rallied together through rationing and bond drives.
That same can-do spirit lives on today. We can tap into our innovation and resolve to achieve energy independence once more. If we unite behind pro-growth policies, America can be a shining city upon a hill again.
There are already promising signs.
Some states have rejected harmful mandates from Washington. They are forging their own path to secure affordable and reliable energy. America's vast natural resources and entrepreneurial spirit haven't disappeared.
As Ronald Reagan said, America is "a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, windswept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace." We will prevail over these challenging times and emerge stronger than ever before.
Remember, we’re in this together.
