The Economy Performs Better Under Republican Leadership: A Look at the Facts
Jobs and Wages Rose During the Trump Years
The economy often runs differently under Republican versus Democratic presidents. As a conservative focused on jobs, wages, and investments, I decided to compare the last two administrations. The facts show Republican plans have worked better for people like me.
Let's start with everyday jobs and pay. Under President Trump, unemployment fell to record lows and wages went up, especially for working folks. An article by Larry Kudlow points to data showing most Americans believe Trump helped workers more than Biden has. Surveys found people think Trump handled the economy better too.
I saw the difference in my own life. My retirement savings and investments did great when stock prices rose under Trump. But now, high inflation under Biden has hurt my portfolio.
Another article interviewed union auto workers who say Trump fought for manufacturing jobs here at home. He warned that the push toward electric cars could shift auto jobs abroad, which concerns these workers. They feel Biden ignores these issues.
Home Prices and Interest Rates Are Putting Homeownership Out of Reach
There's also a noticeable difference between the parties when it comes to the housing market. An article explained that home prices have surged over 40% since 2020. Now buyers need to earn $47,000 more every year to afford a typical home.
But wages haven't gone up nearly that much. The monthly mortgage payment on the average home has almost doubled from $1,120 to $2,188. That's because mortgage rates jumped from around 3.5% to 6.6% under Biden.
Rising property taxes and insurance costs are making it even harder to buy a home these days. As a conservative focused on responsible homeownership, this troubles me. The slumping housing market now drags down the whole economy.

Republican Policies Offer More Benefits for Everyday Americans
Whether it's jobs, wages, investments, or home prices, the evidence clearly shows Republican plans create better outcomes for everyday folks like me. I saw my retirement accounts grow rapidly alongside middle-class wage growth under Trump's leadership.
But now we face high inflation, economic uncertainty, and unaffordable homes under Biden's policies. It's obvious which party's vision is better for Americans who value a strong economy where hard work is rewarded with higher pay.
I believe by sticking to conservative principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free enterprise, we can restore the prosperity working people enjoyed a few short years ago. Our best days as a country are still ahead if we choose wise leaders.
Staying Engaged Will Lead to Future Success
Even when times get tough, I have hope because I know America has overcome greater challenges before. By speaking up and staying engaged in the political process, concerned citizens can put us back on the right track.
With determination and open minds, we can have thoughtful discussions and find solutions. Though progress can seem slow, working together within our communities breeds understanding and shared purpose.
If we renew our commitment to faith, family, and freedom, I believe our nation's brightest days still lie ahead. But it will require all of us listening to each other, showing grace, and participating in the democratic process that makes America great.
Remember, we’re in this together.
